Why is Nikhita Gandhi’s name missing from Arjun Patiala’s Main Deewana Tera song credits on YouTube?

The recently released Guru Randhawa track Main Deewana Tera was the first Arjun Patiala single from the album that got a music video.

But when we chanced upon this post by singer Nikhita Gandhi on Instagram, we wondered if there was an omission in crediting her in the song’s YouTube description.

To be fair, the streaming platforms we checked feature her name in the credits. So why the slight on YouTube?

The answer is fairly simple: Nikhita’s portion comes right at the end of the song in the audio.

The makers, for some reason, decided to edit out her part from the official video that’s currently out and probably didn’t see the point in crediting her voice if viewers couldn’t hear it in the video.

But that isn’t fair to the singer, because it deprives her fans of the knowledge that it is her song as well.

Ideally, the song composed by Sachin-Jigar and penned by Guru Randhawa should have credited her in the description at least.

It’s not too late to do that yet.
