The music of Loveratri’s trailer is heavy on Darshan Raval

The theatrical trailer of Loveratri has you hooked, because of the similarities between this lead pair and Dhadak‘s star debutantes. From their debuts to their features, everything is pretty similar. And while Dhadak was the remake of Marathi blockbuster, Sairat, Loveratri is about love in the times of Navratri, between a ‘Baroda Girl’ and a ‘Gujju Boy’.
Easily, the best thing about this film’s trailer is its music, credited to Tanishk Bagchi and several other guest composers like Lijo George, DJ Chetas and JAM8. And you can be sure to dance to the catchy Gujarati dance numbers — two, sung by Darshan Raval feature in the trailer.
The songs in question are Aavi Navratri and Chhogala Tara. Both songs have been sung by him. The tracks have their own charm and clearly, it’s our favourite part of the trailer.
However, we wish Darshan was cast in the lead role, seeing how he looks better — and going by his several music videos, has better screen presence — than Salman’s brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma. The Darshaners are anyway excited because the film will have their idol’s voice featuring in two of the song’s biggest singles, expected to release in time for the festival season.
The makers of Loveratri had a grand trailer launch across the country today, releasing simultaneously across 10 cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune, Chandigarh, Indore, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Vadodara. For those who know, , they also know that at least eight out of these cities are Darshan Raval strongholds. Makes perfect business sense to release in these cities, no!>
