Taylor Swift fans are convinced TS7 is coming, here’s why!

It’s amazing what one supposedly inconspicuous post will stir up. Taylor Swift fans aka The Swifties are convinced that their idol is dropping hints about her seventh studio album, expected later this year, thanks to this post (the seven palms is supposedly the telltale sign)…

Another fan theory goes that there are 61 stars in the sky in this picture, There are 61 days between February 24 and April 26, which is also Arbor Day, an American holiday devoted to tree conservation. Also, April 26 falls on a Friday this year. We all know what drops every Friday, right?

This post went up immediately after the Oscars ended. Taylor had skipped the ceremony, but did create a buzz with the above post and took to Instagram to share what she wore to an Oscars afterparty which she attended with boyfriend Joe Alwyn, who attended the Oscars to support his film, The Favourite.

The post in question has her sitting on a spiral staircase in a fringe dress. Fans were quick to notice that she was “conveniently sitting 7 steps down.”

Speculation began as early as last year when TS won Best Pop/Rock Album at the 2018 American Music Awards where she said this in her acceptance speech, ““I always look at albums as chapters in my life, and to the fans, I’m so happy that you like this one. But I have to be really honest with you about something: I’m even more excited about the next chapter.”

TS7 will be Swift’s first studio album since 2017’s Reputation, which went triple Platinum, earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album and inspired her record-breaking Reputation Stadium World Tour.
