Tanishk Bagchi: There are some songs I don’t want to re-create

Bollywood’s busiest music director Tanishk Bagchi made time for an independent single called Khud Se Zyada released through Vyrl Originals. He also made his music video debut with the single opposite actress-singer Zara Khan, whose vocals also feature on the track.

This marks bandook’s first interview with the guy everyone loves to hate (he insists he’s cool with all kinds of criticism), the guy whose re-created hits — like it or not — are ruling the charts (after all, nothing succeeds like success) and the guy who is happy living with the choices he makes.

Of course, he tells us about the one musician whose songs he won’t re-create, about all the bad selfies he takes and the sea of regrets that help him compose music.

Here’s Tanishk Bagchi at his most candid and smiliest in what could possibly be the beginning of several conversations with us.

Fingers crossed! 🤞
