Just last week, Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation (WHO) coming together to announce One World: Together At Home, a Live Aid-style event designed to celebrate healthcare workers around the globe and to support the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the WHO.

Spotify is using their global platform to support the cause and help build further awareness for the fundraising event.
How, you ask? By giving listeners a personal fan experience that allows them to enjoy the show before and after the telecast.
This listener experience includes a pre-show playlist, One World: Together At Home that includes songs from performing artists, with real-time updates during the live broadcast so fans can listen to all of the songs from the global telecast.
An interesting part is that the global playlist features songs from India as well, including popular tracks such as “Hawayein” by Arijit Singh, “Kaise Hua” and “Manjha” by Vishal Mishra, “Running Back to You” by Lisa Mishra & Anish Sood, and “The Wakhra Song” by Navv Inder, Raja Kumari and also Lisa Mishra.

Curated by Lady Gaga, Chris Martin, and John Legend, and hosted by late-night TV talent Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, the two-hour program will air live across TV networks and digital platforms globally. It will also feature Indian artists Vishal Mishra and Lisa Mishra, as well as Indian-origin superstar Lilly Singh, and Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
