Punjabi artists drive India’s dominance of Billboard’s YouTube Charts

Two Bollywood songs, one Pollywood (Punjabi film industry) song and one not-film Punjabi pop single are behind India’s dominance on Billboard’s YouTube charts.
Dilbar from the film Satyameva Jayate, debuts at a solid #3. The Laung Laachi title track returns to the chart at #17. After spending three weeks on the chart, debuting at #12, Prada now drops to #21. Tere Naal Nachna from Nawabzaade debuts at the bottom of the charts, but given the powerhouse talents behind it, it should climb.
The artists behind India’s dominance on these charts are all Punjabis. Guru Randhawa has been an off and on presence on this chart while Jass Manak (Prada) has stayed put for three weeks consistently. Neha Kakkar, who mostly sings for Bollywood films and is the most followed Indian singer on Instagram, unsurprisingly makes her debut at #3. Badshah and Sunanda Sharma (of Jaani Tere Naa fame) bring up the rear.
It is interesting to note that (label-wise), of the four Indian tracks on this chart, three are T-Series ones (Prada is a Geet MP3 product).
