Pune to get a Punjabi Music Festival in Gaana Crossblade!
By Bandook - February 3, 2020
Gaana Crossblade had a stellar edition in Jaipur by all accounts last year and the Punjabi music festival is now headed to Pune.
The two-day festival, a property created by Speed Records and EYP Creations is devoted to Punjabi music and culture.
It comes as no surprise why a festival like this could well work in the Marathi heartland. Punjabi music is everywhere — Guru went global with Pitbull for Slowly Slowly and with Bollywood soundtracks being dominated by Punjabi or Punjabi-sounding numbers.
A larger-than-life experience is being promised. Close to 50 artists — Jazzy B, B Praak, Jassie Gill, Tony Kakkar, Parmish Verma, Dhwani Bhanushali, Manj Musik, Millind Gaba and Akhil Sachdeva — among others will take the stage.
Nikhil Dwivedi, Founder, EYP Creations adds, “After the grand success of Gaana Crossblade season 1, we are back again to give the audiences a larger-than-life experience when it comes to music. We promise to offer not just the best in Punjabi music, but also an experience of a lifetime.”>
