The imagery in the title song takes you by surprise with its accessible verse. The composer duo’s dramatic melodic turns are embellished by a fervent modern beat. Sonu Nigam’s vocals are breathy, but precise.
2. KAUN HAIN HUM
Hariharan takes one through this introspective track, the only Hindi track on the soundtrack and effortlessly swims through the evocative verse, surprising you with a crescendo-like ending.
3. SWATACHA SAARTHI
Self-sufficiency and being in charge of one’s destiny is at the core of this high-energy song that’s straight up Sukhwinder Singh’s alley.
4. PRAWAAS (REPRISE)
The far more pleasurable experience as far as the title song’s reprise version is concerned. Shreya Ghoshal is perfection personified.
Consistency is the driving factor of this album and while it does have its bright and brilliant sparks, it does leave a lot of room for higher expectations.
