‘Naa Nuvve’ video showcases a tender love

Why the promotional video for the film’s title song needs to be seen, more than once
If there’s beauty in brevity, the Naa Nuvve (You Are Mine) promotional video, released via Sony Music India, is the poster child for it.
Set in a darkened room, it shows Nandamuri Kalyanram take a step back, behind the piano and lets Tamannaah’s character take the spotlight. That he lets her voice soar and take flight speaks volumes of the director Jayendra’s vision for this song.
P.C. Sreeram’s cinematography is understated, restrained, but effective. The music by Sharreth is mellifluous, the lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry subtly beautiful and speak of a love that transcends everything else.
Just as well, it showcases Kalyan’s character to be supportive and loving as he plays a guiding role. Priya Mali’s voice suits Tamannah perfectly.
There’s a tenderness in the visuals that’s rare to see these days.
