Mission: Impossible Theme in PUBG? Here’s what you need to know

It’s difficult to miss the all-conquering reach of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (aka PUBG). Everybody’s playing the mobile game – from Youtubers to DJs to Indian singers as well.
In fact PUBG developer Tencent Games has taken the game to the next level by associating with ‘Fallout’, the latest installment of the long-running movie franchise, Mission: Impossible. Players will face in-game challenges and get prizes as part of this promotion.
The Tom Cruise-starrer is in theatres and for a limited time, Tencent and MI have paired up for a worldwide event.
But what is the best part of this tie-in is the fact that you can play the game with the option of having the MI:6 theme playing in the background during gameplay.
The M:I theme, originally composed by Lalo Schifirin for the TV series (yes, that’s where it started). Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen, Jr of U2 then adapted it for the 1996 film version. Michael Giacchino would adapt Lalo’s version for 2006’s MI: III and 2012’s MI4: Ghost Protocol. Giacchino’s version is most likely what plays in the game.>
