Smart, Sassy, Singer, Superwomen

A quick scroll-through of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram reveals that we are highly opinionated. We have an opinion about everything under the sun. When it comes to artists, even more so, because each cause, each pet peeve of theirs gets magnified and becomes the cause and pet peeve of their many followers.

Of course, that doesn’t mean everybody agrees with them all the time, but for the most part they actually do. Just take a look around. Here are some female voices we feel have the loudest voices and their opinions are the most looked forward to…

Neha Bhasin
Most notably took up cudgels on behalf of musicians sidelined by the Bollywood-myopic media at an awards show. She also routinely demolishes trolls looking to body-shame her

Hard Kaur
Name the platform and the Sherni takes them apart. Of course, she’s been quite busy promoting her mixtape of late.

Shalmali Kholgade
A Marathi mulgi and proud of it, she’s also a die-hard Amy Winehouse fan. And in one of her recent tweets called out people who said they had problems with certain communities and such. Stays classy when giving people a piece of her mind.

Sona Mohapatra
Anybody who knows Sona would know better than to test her patience with their narrow-mindedness. She gives it back any platform she gets.

Caralisa Monteiro
Very politically and socially aware. She constantly battles trolls for her strong views. Most active on Twitter.

Raja Kumari
Sweetly ignores the creeps, quietly and classily ends trolls, and voices her causes quite actively.
