Lady Gaga calls social media ‘the toilet of the internet’

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s intense Oscar performance has literally given rise to romance rumors, and has been in our faces for long now because of the social media trolls.

And now, with a special 12-minute longer screening of Shallow hitting back the US theaters, Gaga finally opened up about the rumours on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Gaga’s reaction to the social media trollers was epic. First she rolled her eyes and then said “Guess what, people saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted them to see” said the 32-year-old pop star.

While the performance made it appear as though the two actors were in love IRL, she continued saying “This is a love song, Shallow, the movie A Star Is Born, it’s a love story!” and added that she and Cooper practised a week for that performance!

But her ending shot was the best. When Kimmel asked her about her reaction to the social media trolls, she said “Social media is the toilet of Internet” and we could not agree more!

Kudos for saying that out loud, Gaga!
