Kabir Singh’s Bekhayali gets a reprise version from Sachet-Parampara

You know the music/singles of a film has done well if you look at the number of official covers, remixes and reprises it has. And given the overwhelming popularity of Kabir Singh‘s music in general and the record-breaking Bekhayali in particular, it comes as no surprise that the song now has one more version.
This ‘acoustic version’ features the original singer-composer duo, Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur.
And if you felt the pathos deeply before, get ready to be even more hooked with the reprise version. The arrangement is a departure from what you’ve heard and seen in the film, relying heavily on string instruments like cellos, violins and guitars.
An excited Sachet says, “Singing the reprise version was a different experience for us and also a bit difficult one. As this was a duet we were very particular that it should match the intensity and feel of the original version. Its essence should be maintained even though we have played with its arrangement.”
Parmapara adds, “It was very interesting experiment. Earlier we made the song behind four walls and presented it to listeners. Now, we are in front of the camera. It is challenging to sing and portray the emotions on screen. I am a little nervous but also looking forward to see how people receive this new version of Bekhayali.”
With original lyrics by Irshad Kamil, the reprised version’s music is produced by Satish Kumar.
