Justin Bieber announces a break from music!
By Bandook - March 26, 2019
It’s official. Justin Bieber is on a break from his music career. He has said as much in one of his latest Instagram posts.
Addressing fan clamour for a new album, he said the wait would be indefinite and added, “I’ve toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realized and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour.”
Which is surprising, by the way. JB’s last album Purpose was outNovember 2015. His last single as a lead singer was Friends (ft BloodPop) in 2017. His last single as a featured artist came in July 2018 with No Brainer. For all practical purposes, JB was already on an extended break from music.
He cut his Purpose Tour short in July 2017, putting this message out on Instagram in August that year…
“Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE,” he wrote. “I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my heart and soul to be sustainable. So that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be and the father I want to be.”
Mind you, this was months after his actual reveal regarding his relationship with Hailey Baldwin at the time. In GQ’s March issue of 2016, he mentioned the possibility of marrying her one day. Hailey would keep denying the relationship till June 2018. JB confirmed their engagement in July 2019. The couple confirmed their marriage to a fan in October 2018 (as per US Weekly).
Returning to the post he just put out, here’s what Justin said, “I have been looking, seeking, trial and error as most of us do, I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be.”
Ring a bell? Well, here’s the most important part of his message for the true Beliebers: “Music is very important to me but Nothing comes before my family and my health. I will come with a kick ass album ASAP, my swag is undeniable and my drive is indescribable his love is supernatural his grace is that reliable…. the top is where I reside period whether I make music or not the king said so. 👑 but I will come with a vengeance believe that..”
Our point is, JB has been on a break for a while from music, and that break is about to be extended indefinitely. Will the world care, once he decides to make a comeback?
Will it be “too late to say I’m sorry?”>
