Is Neha Kakkar set to claim the YouTube views throne from Guru Randhawa?

YouTube view counts are like a Game Of Thrones. And if Despacito is king today (at 5.8 billion views), there’s a contender waiting for the right moment in Shape Of You (4 billion views).
But when it comes to India, the race is far tighter. If Bollywood song Swag Se Swagat is number one (681 million views) at the moment, it has Guru Randhawa’s Lahore (647 million views) and Neha Kakkar’s Mile Ho Tum Humko (at 643 million views) closing in.
As time grows and algorithms change, the view counter will find it tough to keep up, given the sheer number of Indians watching music videos and the number of fans both artists have.
Yes, we’re aware that Swag Se Swagat is the numero uno music video in India at the moment, but the reason we’re closing on Neha and Guru is that both are individual artists whose videos are that well-watched.
And that’s saying something. How soon before Neha overtakes Guru? Well, it’s only a matter of time, going by current figures. 4 million doesn’t seem like that big a gap.
Better still, Neha and Guru should collaborate and just shut down the internet.>
