Guru Randhawa is not wasting any time becoming a crossover star. Showing off his global aspirations with Pitbull in Slowly Slowly not too long ago, he is now building on that relationship with another collaboration with Mr Worldwide himself.

In an Instagram post put up by Guru yesterday, he revealed the news with a twist. The two superstars will not be coming together for a Punjabi song.

Instead, Guru will join forces with Pitbull for a Spanish song, his first ever. They will be joined by Tito El Patrón aka El Bambino on the single titled Mueve La Cintura (translated as ‘ Move Your Waist‘).

This move makes complete sense for Guru given what we already know and have reported about earlier: over the past few years, Punjabi music has been growing at a rate of 60-80%. By comparison, Latin music has been growing at 80-90% every year. The two joining forces was inevitable.

The single and accompanying video for Mueve La Cintura will be out soon.
