Birthday girl Dhvani Bhanushali says she’s here, “music ke Vaaste”

Dhvani Bhanushali, 21, is doing what she loves and is grateful for the love she had received. She made an announcement today saying she has begun work on her new single ‘Vaaste’.

The single will be composed by Tanishk Bagchi and penned by Arafat Mehmood and will have Nikhil D’Souza for company on the track for the first time.

The accompanying video, shot at a college in Mumbai, will be directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, who also directed her in Leja Re.

Speaking about picking music as her vocation, she says, “Music has always been a part of my life. I always wanted to become a singer and I am thankful to God that I am doing what I love. I am happy and eager to do more. I am here music ke Vaaste.”

Vaaste, a love song, is Dhvani’s fourth single with T-Series who recently signed her as their in-house music talent. Ishare Tere saw her collaborate with Guru Randhawa, Dilbar (Satyameva Jayate) with Neha Kakkar and Leja Re on her own.

Dhvani adds, “I was on cloud 9 with the kind of responses these songs received. I did Ishtehaar which was a soft sad genre song and since then the love that kept showering gave me a next level confidence to do more. Dilbar and Ishare Tere brought me closer to achieving my dreams.”

Dhvani has also lent her voice to Duniyaa for the re-creation of Akhil’s song for Luka Chuppi. Notebook’s Laila also found favour.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Dhvani concludes, “On my birthday, I want to do more riyaaz, work more, and keep myself close to my passion and dream more to achieve more. Next step is to start prepping for Vaaste’s shoot.”

The young singer has also recently shot for T-Series Mixtape Season 2 with Aditya Narayan.
