Bille Eilish reminds Dave Grohl of Nirvana in 1991, appaently!

Dave Grohl has just compared Billie Eilish to his band Nirvana. Of course, he said more, but we’d like you to read on, so here goes…
Billie, 17, a rising star is set to release her debut LP When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? next month.
Grohl made the statement in a Q&A session with Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino at PollStarLive’s conference. He said, My daughters are obsessed with Billie Eilish. The same thing is happening with her that happened with Nirvana in 1991. People say, ‘Is rock dead?’ When I look at someone like Billie Eilish, rock and roll is not close to dead!”
Those are massive words of validation coming from one of the last few big guns of rock and roll.
In the same interview, he has taken a dig at streaming apps, too. He says, “I don’t know the difference between Pandora and Spotify. I don’t get it. I don’t have the app. Sorry.”
