All We Know About The 13 Reasons Why Season 2 Soundtrack

Selena Gomez has announced one song Back To You, due May 10

Selena Gomez’s TV production 13 Reasons Why Season 1 touched a deep chord with audiences and brought the discussion on suicide prevention and mental distress to the fore.

What stayed with audiences, we feel was the music that was as much as character in the series as the actual cast. All in all, around 130+ songs played in Season 1 over 13 episodes.

While it is known that ESKMO (real name: Brendan Angelides) will return as series composer, not much is known apart from the fact that Selena may be singing at least one track in the new season.

Gomez announced that Back To You would release on May 10 this year.

“Out May 10th, part of the @13ReasonsWhy S2 soundtrack,” she wrote. “I’m so excited for you guys to hear it.” On Instagram, she posted a Polaroid picture of hers, signed by the words “Back To You ’18”.

13 Reasons Why had the lead actor Clay Jensen listening to Hannah Baker’s and reminiscing the past, making us feel the entire show with every song denoting something. This created an emotional experience for the viewer and garnered a fair amount of audience for the same..

With songs like “Only You” and “The Night We Met”, we fell in love and it made us tear up a little more. Opening with “More Than Gravity”, the story starts as Hannah narrates her entire bone-chilling experience. This show had songs from the 80s to indie music and recent covers. It was the best of everything.

It is no surprise that the track list of the second season is highly awaited. With Selena Gomez and Eskmo returning for round 2, one can expect a killer lineup. And lastly, it’s 13 Reasons Why.
