Singing superstar Neha Kakkar has never been shy of sharing her feelings with her fans, the Nehearts. And the same happened over the weekend when she shared something that was troubling her, of late.
Celebrities struggling with depression rarely come forward about dealing with it and Neha is one of the few brave enough to discuss it with fans. The only other famous names that come to mind include Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan.
As one of the most loved and followed Indian musicians on the scene, Neha is no stranger to rumours of linkups and she has always dealt with it head-on and with grace and dignity.
The most recent rumour of her dating Vibhor Parashar, a contestant on Indian Idol 10 who joined her on her UK tour, provoked an outpouring of emotions on her Instagram Stories as she posted this note which had fans worried…
Urging rumour-mongers to exercise restraint before putting out salacious gossip she said, “They don’t realise that i’m a daughter/sister of somebody. I’ve worked so hard all my life and made sure that I make my family proud and do good with everyone who’re not even my family/friends. Why do they spread rumours without even thinking how badly it’ll affect somebody’s life. Even if she’s a celebrity, she’s a human being first!”
She added that it was having an adverse effect on her. Because let’s face it… after a while everybody hits a point where they say: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! She further wrote, “Stop being so heartless. Stop talking about somebody’s personal life or character. Stop judging. Stop embarrassing people. Don’t do so much that they get depression. Stop making anybody feel so bad that they start thinking of ending their life. Plz! Stop!! (Sic).”
It continued to affect her and she wrote this…
Thankfully, she seems to be feeling better now and has posted this…
When asked by BollywoodLife to comment on rumours, Vibhor was livid. He said angrily, “People have s**t mentality. If someone is helping you build your career, it is because they see some talent in you. Just because I don’t tag her as didi (sister) on Instagram, everyone starts thinking that she is my girlfriend.”
Glad to know Neha has bounced back!>
