5 things nobody will tell you about
ONE REPUBLIC’S MAIDEN TOUR TO INDIA

If you’re the parent of a child who’s already spent a bomb gifting them for front-row tickets (or as per aukaat) to bigger acts like ColdplayJustin BieberEd SheeranThe Chainsmokers and such, maybe it’s not too late to ‘Apologise’ if you’re not able to feed their latest FOMO on 1R. Nobody is gonna judge you (or maybe they will). The concert is on April 21 in Mumbai.
No! OneRepublic fans are not called Republicans. So quit asking, okay!
Admit it, the only reason some people will be attending is because they know the words to/ because they’re there ‘Counting Stars’. Yeah, we’re starstruck AF. Deal with it.
Cyrus Gorimar, Director, Opium Events (the event managers in India) says pre-registrations have seen a phenomenal response with “more than 10,000 registrations received in a span of 24 hours and we are anticipating close to 15,000 fans for the event. The production and scale of the event will be extraordinary with a multi-crore spend invested into the event.” Well, we hope that translates into an actually better experience for fans, who mostly feel like Forrest Gump (“Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get”). Fingers crossed.
Oh My My! Ticket rates range anywhere between ₹4200 (Silver) – ₹24,000 (VIP). But, if you’re a true 1R fan, the price of admission for being up, close and personal (or generally being THERE) while they perform, won’t even be a talking point for you. So, which kind of 1R fan are you?
