5 reasons why Chris Martin wrote that ‘Shah Rukh Forever’ note

By Bryan Durham - March 11, 2019

Chris Martin is wearing his heart on his sleeve when it comes to being a Shah Rukh Khan fan. Why can we say this?

Here are 5 reasons we feel this went down…

1. THERE’S A FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING

There’s a fair chance this might be a flash in the pan. And that we and the world are going to make too much out of one mention. But hey, nobody saw Hymn For The Weekend coming. Nobody imagined the Coldplay logo would go Devanagari for the promotions of A Head Full Of Dreams. It all happened. This could be a sign of things to come…

2. HE FINALLY CAUGHT A FEW OF SRK’S MOVIES

Depending which end of the love-loathe divide you fall, there’s no denying SRK gives his all to each film, each performance. Yes, we all have that one or two SRK films we absolutely hate and we hope Chris skipped those.

3. THERE’S A COLLABORATION BREWING

A Bollywood musical outing for Coldplay? A non-film project a la Biba? Chris’s acting debut in a Red Chillies film? SRK getting into the live performance scene with Coldplay as his first headline act?

4. BIGGER IS BETTER

Think about it. Both are global superstars. A mutual admiration society and a union of two humongously big fan armies works for everyone. Both have personal brands that reach far beyond their spheres of influence.

5. STARS CAN STAN, TOO!

Why not? It rarely happens with contemporaries. Even more rarely with stars from different backgrounds. But when it does, it’s ‘FOREVER’.
