The sixth edition of Vh1 Supersonic, India’s biggest multi-genre music festival is the place to be if you want to catch the biggest acts the next weekend. Check out our list of the most anticipated performances that will be a part pf Vh1 Supersonic 2019 over two days, February 16-17!
1. JADEN SMITH
Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s son, Jaden Smith has shown a strong desire to be a part of Bollywood and has announced his first ever Indian gig at Vh1 Supersonic 2019 in Pune. The 20-year-old rapper-actor-songwriter will set the stage performing to some of his finest hits. With over 800 million streams for his music, the young musicpreneur is expected to perform on his tracks such as The Electric Album (2017), Ghost Surface and Moreo.
Global EDM artist Marshemello will be headlining Vh1 Supersonic 2019 which has always been an experience of a lifetime for all the festival-goers and also one of the main reasons for the show to be a sell out this year. He has promised a performance like never before! Tracks such as Wolves, Moving On, Alone, You and Me etc are a few of his hits that could be expected during his performance. On popular demand, here’s welcoming Marshmello back at Vh1 Supersonic 2019.
Simon Green, known around the world ‘Bonobo’ will be performing at Vh1 Supersonic 2019 and we could not be more excited! Known for his amazing trip-hop and experiemental electronic music, Bonobo’s soothing tracks is something we can all sway to. His 8-piece ensemble band has certainly caused a buzz at the festival. Cirrus, Black Sand, Know You are a few of his tracks that fans are expecting though he is certain to perform to tunes from some of his albums such as ‘Migration’, ‘The North Borders’, ‘Days to Come’, etc.
4. TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB
For the first time, Two Door Cinema Club is going to perform live in India and this indie rock band is something to definitely look forward to. Two Door Cinema Club is loved worldwide for their panache, melody and inventive edge, which sets them apart from the rest. They are all set to rock with their pop-rock beats and fans are definitely looking forward to a performance by them to their album ‘Game Show’.
UK’s biggest Drum & Bass band straight out of London’s underground music scene is gonna be here too, so it’s gonna be an epic night indeed! With its dynamic surroundings of pirate radio, sensational DJ sets, fantastic studios and bleeding edge beats, they’re pretty certain to get the dance floor on full swing with their performance with hits such as ‘Feel the Love’, ‘Scattered Light Tunnel’ and ‘Cursed’.>
